Friendly service, great food

I came for a last minute take away as had nothing at home for The Husband. Had a lamb dish and a veg dish. Was yummy and really authentic. Lots of different kind of veg, not too spicy, big portion and a bargain. Note: they don't take cards. The guy was so nice that he let me just bring the cash the next day!

The welcome is as outstanding as the food!

First of all, even if there were no food or drink, I'd go to Spice of Life just to be in the company of Mohammed who is a thoroughly nice and friendly chap who prioritises making sure you have a pleasant meal and leave with a smile on your face. His cuisine is delicately prepared to suit a wide range of palettes and make sure you try his Masala Chai tea. It's all really good value too! It's a little gem of a place and I'm looking forward to going back.

Friendly service, great food

We went here yesterday after a recommendation from our friends. Mohammed was incredibly friendly, he told me all about the food being served and we had a good chat about the local area. He even gave us snacks to eat whilst we were waiting to take away the food! The food was delicious. I wish I could make curry which has such complexity of flavour and texture. We ate it in the sun on the level, it was perfect.

Delicious

I had a fabulous lunch today from Mohammed Spice of Life. Great warm friendly service, excellent value for money. I ate alfresco but there is also indoor eating. Lovely.

Great Bangladeshi food

I've been here a couple of times this Easter break and loved their scrumptious food. It smells as good as it tastes, the samosas are excellent. Mohammed and his brother are very kind and friendly, I look forward to going back and trying new foods soon.

A welcome that could brighten anyone's day.

Mohammed and Atique have worked for a long time to build a reputation within the local community, and I'm sure many would agree that this reputation is very well deserved! The moment I step into their small cafe located within the open market, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome - and made to feel like more than just another customer! With this in mind, the food would make you want to go back just in itself. They offer a range of Bangladeshi and Goan cuisine - which smells amazing and tastes even better! Whether you might want to visit for a snack of Samosas, a full meal or even just a mug of Masala Chai Tea, you'll find yourself leaving with a smile on your face and a satisfaction of great value. They also provide a traditional 'lunchbox', which are perfect for those with a busier schedule.
